For those who love a challenge, though, it's perfect. Players who want a more realistic — and slightly less forgiving — experience while playing Saints Row: The Third should definitely download this mod. It might go against the over-the-top nature of this game , but it can certainly be a fresh change of pace for players who want a bit more variety from their repeated playthroughs. Everything from money to upgrades becomes quite scarce, and firefights become much more challenging as well.

Players need to utilize proper tactics and manage their resources efficiently to get through the game in one piece. Fans of Bethesda titles might be elated at the idea of an unofficial patch existing for Saints Row 3.

However, unlike the same patches for the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, this particular patch doesn't really fix many bugs. Instead, it tweaks some of the mechanics to alter and improve the balance of the game. The biggest change in this regard is that the main character's health is the same as NPCs. This can make for some tough encounters, as players must manage their health efficiently while landing some choice shots.

This one does a complete rebalance of the weapons system in the game, changing things that range from basic modifications to others that go as far as changing the traces of certain types of ammunition in the game.

Especially considering all the fun weapons we have in SR: The Third. Another mod brought to us by the SR legend known as Shitface, this one does a fantastic job at overhauling the way the AI works and spawns.

It makes spawns way more natural and tweaks the way the AI interacts with the player as well as with the game environment. Notoriety has been heavily modified and improved to make it work even better than it does in the vanilla game.

So this is more of a mod pack than a mod per se. So why not go the femme route and dominate Saints Row IV? Sounds like fun! This mod is as representative of its name as possible, as it makes your companions simply get in the damn car so you can kick that pedal to the max and blast away from your enemies. Imagine that your crew is actually the Secret Service and watch them kick asses in suits that you never thought were possible to be obtained in the game.

You can even put the suits on your space homies if you want, since they are all fully selectable in the game. It adds all of the characters from the previous games to Saints Row IV, and all of them are added as homies.

Get the crew back together and reminisce about the good old days with all of the characters that you used to roll with in the days. Mods that make old characters come back onto the scene are always going to be loved by the community myself included.

Ranking in 1 is a retexture for the All American bat, which replaces it with the texture from the bat you see in Rick and Morty.
